Ok, so i did not hear all of the new songs but what i did was hearing 4 of them. Ok? 4! Not 10, but 4. And you know what? I just decided for myself that Social D would be the only band allowed to release an album with only 4 songs simply because those four (Footprints on my ceiling, I wasn?t born to follow, Reach for the sky, Nickles & Dimes) are so much better than 99% of the other stuff released these days. Really, I absolutely dont care if Social D puts 5, 8, 10 or 25 songs on a record as long as it?s of the aforementioned quality. Damn, I mean how many songs need other bands to actually play 4 GOOD ones......most bands put like 12-14 songs on a record and have like 2 hits.......different story here. Ok, if i dont like the other 6 tunes you?ve won but i?m sure this will not happen.....damn, this will make my top 3 ever. Oh, one more thing: everyone talk about the new album being more polished and what not......am i the only one who hears an ever deeper, tougher, gruffer sound (you know what i mean) in mike?s voice here and there (reach for the sky!)???

these are 10 absolutely incredible songs and thats all you need to produce a truly memorable record. This will go down as one of the best records in the past 20 years. i have not put it down in the last week. This will without a doubt be another gold record in mikes collection and it will turn on millions more who dont know much about the band. Im glad this isnt another "use your illusion I and II". Anybody predict whats the next "radio hit"? I say its gonna be "nickles and dimes" or "wasnt born to follow".
